Flat Bed Print over Laser Cut Topography

Remnants
of Troy

Type: Data Visualisation, Multimedia, Exhibition Design

Mentor: Rhonda Arntsen

Remnants of Troy is a fictional data visualization project that pushes the extent of design through the believability of unreal data presented as the truth. The data explores the statement: “The Trojan Horse was Real” and formulated the narrative of its remains dispersed around present day Turkey along with the projection of a strewed ancient population.

The data is designed to be a large-scale installation for entrance of the Museum of Troy. It is a three dimensional map created with laser cut board and a flatbed printed glass display in order to show depth in topography and labeled sections of the formulated narrative.
